Terms of service
Purpose
These terms govern the use of Dictavo, an online audio transcription service published by M&C MANAGEMENT AND CO. Using the service implies acceptance of these terms.
Service
Dictavo converts an audio file into an editable, timestamped transcript that can be exported as TXT, SRT or VTT. Transcription is automated: the result may contain errors and must be reviewed before any critical use.
Account and access
Some features require an account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity carried out through your account.
Acceptable use
You warrant that you hold the rights to the audio files you upload and that their content is lawful. Any attempt to circumvent quotas, overload the service or use it for unlawful purposes may result in immediate suspension.
Plans, minutes and payments
The free plan is limited. Starter (€9.90/month) and Pro (€24.90/month) subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time; minute packs (€6.90 and €19.90) do not expire and are consumed after the monthly quota. Prices are in euros. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Right of withdrawal
By starting to use the service immediately after purchase, you request its immediate performance and acknowledge that the statutory right of withdrawal no longer applies to minutes already consumed.
Data and retention
Uploaded audio files are deleted one hour after upload. Transcripts are kept until deletion for account holders and one hour for anonymous visitors. See the privacy policy for details.
Liability
Dictavo is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy of the transcripts. Liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service over the last twelve months, to the extent permitted by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent courts, subject to the mandatory rules applicable to consumers.
